at last ... Emily

Our wee baby girl, Emily, finally put in an appearance this morning at 8.32am weighing in at 8lbs 12oz. Under the hat, her hair is dark (like her daddy's).

Mummy and Emily are both fine although Emily is in the baby care unit as she has a slight infection. Debbie is as well as can be expected after a l-o-n-g labour and an emergency c-section.

We're hoping to go and see them at the beginning of next week after they get home. In the meantime, thanks for all your best wishes and good thoughts. It's been a long couple of days for all of us!

  3. Welcome little Emily! At last she has arrived. Hope they both do well & are home soon. Congrats to the parents & grandparents & the many years of fun ahead. Our eldest turns 21 this year and that is scary. Take care & huggles for all too.
