Debbie's birthday tea

We had a birthday tea for Debbie yesterday. I do love a good birthday tea! :o)

We had sandwiches:

Fruit:

Lots of sweeties:

Sticky krispie cakes:

Sausage rolls, more sandwiches and more sweeties:

Sausages and cheese on sticks:

And lastly, Debbie's favourite sweeties - dolly mixtures.

There wasn't much on the table that was good for us but that's why birthday teas are so great. Eating junk food is okay as long as you don't do it every day - even if you secretly wish you could! LOL

  1. What a treat, just like children's birthday parties. Hope Debbie had a great day. Take care.

    1. You're right, Susan. It's exactly like a children's party although we didn't have a birthday cake in the shape of a doll's dress like we used to! Maybe next year! LOL

  5. It was soooo good - although I only ended up taking home one or two sammichs, sweeties and sausage rolls. I suspect the birthday girl might have taken all the rest (and all the dolly mixtures that weren't brown or purple!). Good job I'm such an understanding person and won't get mad. Oh wait - no I'm not!!

  6. Happy birthday to Debbie! It looks like the best sort of party, the sort that gives you tummy ache and toothache from chewing all the sweets!

    1. Thanks, Jem. It's probably just as well that the birthday teas don't happen too often - for the sake of our teeth and our tummies, anyway! LOL
