three random things

Thing 1: On my sewing table this morning - a few pinnies in various stages.

Thing 2: I saw this pattern on Jo's blog - through the keyhole - the other day and decided to make myself some. When I went up to the sewing room last night to get some black buttons for eyes, the jar of "googly eyes etc" just seemed to jump out at me. I am extremely happy with these! I suspect I'll have to knit at least one more pair!

Thing 3: This afternoon I'm singing in a Christmas concert. I've looked out my "uniform" and ironed the shirt collar to make sure it sits properly. All I have to do now is remember my words! Wish me luck!

  2. Good luck for your Christmas concert, though I don't think you'll need it. I hope you have a wonderful time. Thank you for the mention and link to my blog. Your mitts have come out brilliantly. I love the yarn you chose and those eyes are just the thing.

  3. Well, yes good luck, but I'm sure you've sung by now as it is Monday morning here and you are probably in bed as I write this. Those owl mitts look great and I think I'll have a go at them also. Loved them on Jo's blog. Take care.
