stop stalling!

This is a photo of some of the things I *need* to get finished by the 25th of this month.

Need to get finished. As in *HAVE TO* get finished. So, what did I do today? Did I cut out or sew any of the stuff in that crate??

Of course not!

I made more tartan bee labels.

And then I started sewing some bags.

Now I admit that these bags have been cut out and ready to sew for weeks (months, actually) but they don't need to be made right at this minute. They could wait until I've done everything I *need* to make. I need to stop stalling and just get those things made! *eyeroll*

  1. Well Anne, I should take your advice and stop stalling too! Guess tonight I will start a sewing project that is all cut out but just have not gotten to the sewing part yet. I love your tags....I think I saw a post about them a while ago too.....gotta find it.

    1. Thanks, Linda. I don't know if you found the post where I gave a brief description of how I made my labels. In case you didn't it's here - http://annelee55.blogspot.co.uk/2013/02/making-labels-and-making-progress.html

  2. Isn't it funny that it seems you have to be in the right mood for some projects? Maybe you should convince yourself that the bags and tags must be completed.... Then you will want to work on the project in the basket. Hope you can convince yourself, Anne.

  3. I also need to stop stalling! I have a few things I need to sew for summer but I always have an excuse for why they can wait!

  4. Funny how we always put off the most important stuff to do other little bits and pieces!

    1. I really need to knuckle myself down too, Anne. That's another weekend gone with nothing out of that crate being made! Eeeeek!!

  7. Some things just call out more than others. I'm sure everything will get done in the end.

    1. I hope you're right, Jo. I'm going to have to be really bossy with myself so that I get on with things!

  8. I seem to be doing things that do not NEED to be completed now and it is an 'avoidance tactic'...there are so many other things that I NEED to be doing.

    Your labels are so cute!
