a walk in the park

I remembered to take my camera with me on our morning walk in the park. Here are just a few of the photos I took.

Looking through the trees over the bay to the other side of Kirkcaldy.

A zoomed-in view of the town.

I'm sure the park won't look so good in the rain/wind/snow of autumn and winter but, at the moment, it's glorious in all its sun-shiny green-ness. :o)

  2. What a lovely place to have on your doorstep. I'm sure it will look just as good with the Autumn leaves or the Winter snow - just might not be as pleasant to walk through! Have a good weekend x Jane

    1. You're right, Jane. I'll be sure to take my camera on a nice autumn day and a snowy winter's day so I can show you all how the park looks then. :o)

  3. I love early morning walks, it's so peaceful at that time of day before the hustle and bustle of the day begins.

    1. I do love the quiet of it all, Jo. We do sometimes meet dog walkers but even they are few and far between at that time of the morning. :o)

  4. Oh, how beautiful... I could walk in that park forever!

Okay, maybe not when it's cold and there's a bunch o' snow on the ground... ;)

    1. We don't really get a lot of snow around here - the sea air keeps most of it away. Hopefully that will stay the same for this year or I might have to get myself some cross country skis. Now that would be a sight to see! :oD

  5. Hello Anne Just catching up on the posts I've missed. As usual you've been 'sew' busy. The blouses look wonderful. Your daughter's birthday picnic looked wonderful and a lovely sunny day. Thanks for taking us on a stroll around your park. It's something I really miss as the park where we live now is just a tiny green space, we had a lovely large park before moving.
I think it's always lovely to see the same place at different times of the year. Have a lovely week.
