♥ Rosie ♥

It's a very sad day here today. Rosie's heart hadn't been good and she'd been on medication since January. Unfortunately, today her heart failed. We took her to the vet but she died there.

♥ Rosie ♥ : 13 Jan 2003 - 10 July 2013

She knew she was loved and we know she loved us back. The house just isn't the same without her. I miss her so much. :o(

For this post, I won't be replying to any comments. I hope you'll understand.

  2. I'm so sorry to hear about little Rosie - our Jessie is fifteen now and slowing down quite rapidly so we know this how precious this time is. There will be a huge gap at the moment but hopefully lots of wonderful memories too. Sending love and hugs x Jane

  3. Anne, so very sorry to hear about your beloved Rosie. I know all too well how painful it is to lose a fury family member and it is never easy. You are in my thoughts.

  4. Aw, big hugs! It's very hard to say goodbye to pets and I wish no one ever had to do so.

  5. Oh Anne, I'm so sad for you and I'm shedding a tear at the news about lovely wee Rosie. She had a good life and a wonderful loving home - how blessed you both are to have loved & be loved. It's hard when our furry babes leave us and you will miss her, but I like to think there is a doggy heaven and I hope she meets up there with my old furry darlings, Mutt & Jeff - they will look out for her and probably swap sewing & craft stories ;-)
Thinking of you and sending you a BIG hug,
Love Gilly - and special licks & a wee cuddle from Ben & Jerry

  7. I don't think I need to tell you how devastated I am for you, Anne. Our little Cavvie friends are so special, it's such a shame that many of them suffer with their hearts. This is the second piece of bad news I've had this week, Mick's auntie's friend also lost her Cavvie in exactly the same way. Rosie will be greatly missed, not only by her family who loved her so much, but also by your blog friends who loved to see her beautiful little face in so many of your posts. Sending lots of hugs to you and the family at this dreadful time. xx

  10. I was so sorry to hear this sad news Anne. Cavvie's do have an awful health record but they are such beautiful and loving dogs. I dread the day that my Coco will leave us. I am sending you warm hugs as I know there are no words that could possibly comfort you at this time. xx

  12. Sending love and hugs your way. I'm so sorry that Rosie has crossed the rainbow bridge :-( Pets are like kids and they surely leave a huge hole in our hearts when they are no longer with us.
