Molly and the Monster

Molly has a toy called "Monster" which developed a hole and needed some repair. So Monster was taken to the toy hospital - aka my sewing room - for surgery.

At first, Molly didn't understand that quiet was needed so the surgeon - that would be me - could concentrate.

After it was explained how important it was that she sit nicely, she got the message.

So she sat quietly and watched.

And waited.

Never taking her eyes off the surgeon's hands.

Finally, the repair was done and Molly very carefully sniffed Monster to see if he was okay.

As soon as she realised all was well, she was off!

She was so happy to have her Monster back that she didn't even realise she was sitting on Rosie's bed instead of her own! :oD

  2. Thanks, Susan. Any time Molly has been playing with Monster this week, she looks at me with a "leave him alone" look in her eyes! I think she thinks I'm going to stick a needle in him again! :oD

    1. I'm not so sure that "Molly" and "wise" have ever been used in the same sentence before! LOL

    1. I'm not too sure how long the repair will last but at least it wasn't painful! :oD

  6. Awww, she's so gorgeous. Dog toys never seem to last long, do they?

    1. You're right, Jo. Molly has so many toys that have limbs missing or ears off. She doesn't seem to mind them being that way ... just as well, really! :oD

  7. We can only have rubber toys. If I get anything stuffed, my living room looks like its snowed in about 3 minutes FLAT!

    1. Our own wee dog, Rosie, has soft toys but only ever cuddles into them. Molly will toss hers around and makes holes in them but we've not had any snow incidents ... yet. :oD

  8. Too cute! We won't tell her that if you hadn't been repeatedly photographing her, the Monster surgery would have been completed much more rapidly ;-)

  9. That's really cute. Love how she waited for her toy back.... and parking her butt on the wrong bed is funny too especially when you see the size difference in the beds.

    1. Rosie likes to lie on Molly's bed so it's not too surprising that Molly will sit on Rosie's - well, other than the fact that she doesn't fit on Rosie's bed! :oD
