52 weeks of happy - week 14

Here are my 4 happy photos for this week.

1. Today I finished the third of the 4 blouses I cut out for Joanna last week.

2. Douglas had fun setting fire to some pencil shavings! Some boys never grow up, eh? :oD

3. I made some muesli. I don't eat it myself - blech - but Douglas and Jason do so it's made them happy.

4. Next, just because it makes me laugh every time I see it, is an old ad for Yellow Pages. "I know this haircut has nothing to do with you ..... you're very, very nice people!" :oD

  1. Another beautiful blouse! The muesli looks yummy... I like oatmeal and make granola frequently. Love it with Greek yogurt and fresh fruit...

I'm glad firebugs live in more families than just mine... *lol*

    ...and that ad! Too funny!

    1. To be honest, Freda, I'm not sure what the difference is between granola and muesli - something to google, I think! :o)

  2. Only one more to go, so well done. I too love muesli. Firebugs frighten me over here, as so many of our bad fires are started by them. Our yellow pages ads used to be funny too.
Now it seems to be Spec Savers.

  3. The pink blouse is lovely! What a funny ad. I could see that happening with some of the men I know. ;) Those men and fire it seems to be something most of them can not resist. Museli is not very common where I live. Granola is everywhere but I rarely have it. I am more likely to just eat plain old oatmeal with cinnamon and raisin or cinnamon and apple. Yours looks like it has a lot of dried fruit in it and I do love that.

    1. As I said to Freda above, I'm not sure what the difference is between muesli and granola, Jan. I wouldn't be surprised if they're exactly the same thing! :o)

  4. Love my blouses - thanks, mama.

Bwa ha ha - that advert always makes me laugh, even if I've seen it only minutes before. "I want her to think that you did it!"

Thanks for taking the time to comment on my blethers. I really appreciate it. I do try to reply to everyone but sometimes life just gets in the way of that happening! :o)
