Christmas quilt - finished

I finished the Christmas quilt I was making. I just LOVE it!

I hung it on the line to try and get a good photo of it but the wind had other ideas!

Oh well, you get the general idea, I'm sure!

I LOVE the way the binding worked out so well.

And the back is perfect for it.

It's going to be hard but I'm now going to put it away until December when I'll dig it out and fall in love with it all over again. :o)

  1. This is so beautiful, and I love the back as much as the front! I'd be telling everyone that Christmas was a few months early. Take care. Chel

  3. Beautiful quilt, and the backing will make it so snuggly. Did you use batting as well as the fleece, and did the fleece make it any harder to quilt ?

    1. No, I don't use batting with the fleece, Jules. The fleece does want to move about but I just put lots of those quilting safety pins in and it seems to work out well. :o)

  4. Anne that is GORGEOUS! I'm not surprised you love it so much - bet you can't wait for Christmas now! Only one thing for it to help you through until then and that's make more - a quilt for each season using that lovely pattern - pastels for Spring, brights for Summer, golds for Autumn. Well done x Jane
