52 weeks of happy - week 10

Here are my 4 photos for this week.

1. It was Mother's Day in the UK yesterday and Joanna got me some fabulous goodies. This salt & pepper set made me laugh out loud. If you're offended by cows playing leap frog, don't look at this photo! :oD

2. Another salt and pepper set. These chicks in their basket are so cute!

3. She also got me some measuring cups. I love them!

4. Rosie didn't miss a trick when it came to snuggling down on the Farmer's Wife quilt yesterday afternoon!

  1. Cute cows & chicks ;-) and LOVE those measuring cups - they'd bring me happiness too! And wise Rosie, picking a lovely snuggly quilt to keep warm in this weather.

    1. I sometimes think dogs have the best ideas. Lying snuggly under - or on top of - a quilt in this weather is the best place to be for sure! :o)

  2. I love all your happy things, such wonderful Mother's Day gifts. Rosie is such a pampered pooch having such gorgeous quilts to snuggle in.

    1. She's lucky she was clean or she'd not have been allowed anywhere near the quilt! :oD

  3. The cows remind me of a picture on a truck in Europe (we were on holiday) of two rabbits in a similar situation which had the whole bus giggling. Lovely presents and Rosie certainly looks comfortable.

  4. I love those measuring cups!! I have to show hubby your salt and pepper cows later. I think he will smile at that. I love that you let Rosie snuggle in your quilt. So cute. :)

  5. (snicker)! Very cute measuring cups, are they "ceramic"... if so, dang, I'd be too clumsy for those! Cheers

    1. Yes, they are ceramic, Heather. They've gone on the shelf with some other ceramic measuring cups which I look at and admire but probably won't use. I'd hate to break any of them.

  6. Are ceramic measuring cups a normal thing there? I've never seen anything like them before. I'm use to steel or plastic ones. : ) They are cute.

I think you were told a fib those cows are playing leap frog. There is something naughty going on with those two cows! : )

  7. I have a few ceramic measuring cups but I keep them just for show. I use metal ones for "every day" use.

Thanks for taking the time to comment on my blethers. I really appreciate it. I do try to reply to everyone but sometimes life just gets in the way of that happening! :o)
