52 weeks of happy - week 8

Here are my happy photos for the last week.

1. I made myself a new pincushion using the words fabric I showed here and some tape measure fabric I had in my stash. Very appropriate fabrics for a pincushion!

2. Sleeping dogs! Peace at last!

3. Sunshine! I took advantage of the sunshine to wash some fabrics and hang them on the line. They were out there blowing for about 4 hours and they still weren't dry but I liked the look of them from my sewing room window.

4. Some bags I made today. The girls laid claim to the two with birds on them and I'm keeping the other two for myself.

  1. Wow you have been busy - those bags are fab! I think seeing washing blowing on the line is a very under rated pleasure - sadly when I'm inside the only line I can usually see is that of my sweet eighty four year old neighbour and her fantastic bloomers (they don't make them like that any more!) x Jane

  2. Well it looks very green outside even if it was cold to dry the laundry. Loved the new pin cushion too. Also, loved the brown/blue/white spot bag. So if you keep so many for yourself, what do you do with them all?

    1. I'm trying to replace all the bags I use when I go shopping in the (rare) chance that someone might ask me where I got one and I'd tell them they could get them from me!! :oD

  3. It looks like Rosie and Molly get on very well together, I don't think Archie would take too kindly to having another dog in his house.

    1. Rosie was a bit "shocked" when Molly arrived but she's become used to her now. Rosie is definitely the top dog, though. If Molly starts barking, Rosie barks at Molly!

  4. It looks like a nice sunshiney day there! I am ready for a break from the gray. I love the birdie bags. Ahhh to be a dog. They have the happiest life ever. ;)

    1. It's sunshiney but still cold. Mind you, that's better than rain or snow so I'm not complaining!

  5. Good job on more finishes... puppies look happy and content in the wee bit of sunshine streaming through the windows... I love hanging things on the line, and look at you, no snow! Cheers~

    1. We rarely get snow here, Heather, and this year we've had even less than usual.

    1. Thanks, Anne. I had fancied one of those for myself but wasn't too surprised when they both got grabbed by the girls.

Thanks for taking the time to comment on my blethers. I really appreciate it. I do try to reply to everyone but sometimes life just gets in the way of that happening! :o)
